Otto Melendez was born and raised in Houston. Previously, his family immigrated to New York from Guatemala before relocating to Texas. Otto currently serves the real estate market in the Greater Houston area and is eager to assist all clients, from first-time homebuyers to investors at all life stages. Otto values clear, consistent communication and is attentive to his clients’ unique needs. Personable and kind, Otto delivers exceptional client care while establishing client trust and rapport with ease.
 
Otto is passionate about helping others and has a strong background in customer service. He is intent on serving his clients to the best of his abilities and presenting best-case scenarios. Prior to pursuing a career in real estate, Otto worked as a certified pharmacy technician. He began this work in 2012 as an entry-level technician with CVS before transitioning to his role as a pharmacy tech lead with H-E-B Pharmacy in 2014.
 
In addition to his work as a Realtor®, Otto also works as a special projects logistic representative with Maersk, an international shipping company. This position, along with his international background, enables Otto to work well with clients of all backgrounds. Overall, given his resourcefulness and willingness to learn, Otto is consistently adjusting and improving his business model.
Otto and his wife, Wendy, have been married since 2012. Wendy is currently attending nursing school, and Otto is proud to support her as she continues her studies. Otto has become a passionate supporter of the Lupus Foundation of America. When he is not working or spending quality time with his wife, he enjoys collecting sports memorabilia and classic vinyls. He also enjoys the holidays and country music.
