Meet Kari

Thanks to her love of Austin and its homes, and her aptitude for marketing, negotiation, and attention to detail, Kari Cooper is enjoying a successful career serving discerning buyers and sellers of west and northwest Austin real estate. She has represented clients in over 500 completed transactions, resulting in more than $250 million in sales, offering 17 years of real estate experience. Kari brings a wealth of business and applicable personal experience to her job as a real estate professional. Spending a decade in the service industry, she fine-tuned her communication skills and learned how to meet customers’ needs. After earning a degree in marketing, she spent time as marketing coordinator for a commercial design firm. While there, she perfected analytical and negotiating expertise, as well as her eye for architecture and the interior design tools she now calls on when assisting her clients as they prepare their home for sale.

 

Firsthand experience is always an invaluable teacher, and Kari’s own investment in several properties has provided her with vital knowledge. She has proven her competence at transactions ranging from dealing with banks related to foreclosures to single-family homes, multi-unit and development properties, ranchettes and condos. Above all, Kari is driven by a desire to serve, help and connect people in both her career and philanthropic endeavors. Those endeavors include Child Protective Service’s Partnerships for Children, Caritas of Austin, and Meals on Wheels, as well as her children’s school’s PTA. As the mother of three young boys, Kari knows quite well the importance of thoughtful action, solid judgment, and placing the needs of others first. Those are qualities she also applies in her job as trusted real estate professional for buyers and sellers of distinctive Austin area homes.
